Vancouver Freestyle Ski Club is excited to offer its athletes Olympian Level Coaches on a Guest basis. Even though these coaches have personal careers, they frequently attend program sessions, camps and competitions to provide support and guidance to the athletes.
Ryan Johnson

After serving 4 years as the Head Coach, Ryan will continue to be involved with the Vancouver Freestyle Ski Club. Ryan is a two time Olympian, competing at the 1998 Games in Nagano, Japan, and also the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City Utah. Ryan participated in three World Championships, and attained four World Cup medals in his competitive career, two Gold and two Bronze. Ryan has exceptional experience in coaching freeriding camps and freestyle skiing as well as an impressive history of World Cup results. Ryan will lead our staff of National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Freestyle Coaches; an enthusiastic team of athletes passionate about the sport of Freestyle Skiing. Ryan continues to be active promoting sport and environmental concerns. He is a member of athletes 2010, the Clean Air Champions, The Esteem Team, and is on the steering committee for B.C. athlete voice. Additionally, Ryan brings to the club his enthusiasm, easy manner and proven teaching technique. Ryan's role models are, "achievers who are modest, love what they do and are respectful to others". This coaching philosophy is an inspiration to any member of the club.

Tami Bradley

Tami Bradley retired from the Canadian Freestyle Ski Team in the 2002-2003 competitive season as the Canadian National Women's Champion, a second ranking in the world at Dual Moguls and a silver medallist at the World Cup in Fernie, B.C. She competed in two Olympic games for Canada at Nagano in 1998 and Salt Lake City in 2002, reaching the finals in both Olympic Games. Tami earned seven World Cup medals over her career with a Gold Medal at Nagano, Japan and a Bronze medal at Blackcomb, British Columbia in 2001. "Tami brings her exuberance and electric personality to the club and is a great role model for women in sport."

Kelly Ringstad

Kelly was a 7 year Canadian World Cup Team member and a World Cup medal winner. She competed in the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics and placed 13th in the World. Kelly shares her talent with VFSC when she can and has coached for Momentum Ski Camps (formerly SMS) for the past 8 years. Her smile and enthusiasm for Freestyle Skiing is infectious. She is currently completing her nursing degree.
