![]() Jumps and Bumps: (ages 7-11 years) at Grouse and Cypress Mountains Jumps and Bumps is a program developed by the Canadian Freestyle Ski Association. Participants are aged 7 to 10 years of age, must be able to parallel ski and be able to load and unload the ski lift independently. Skiers are taught freestyle skills, basic air skills, safety and mogul training. The program also includes an introduction to the terrain park, free riding, rail sliding and "Big Air".This program is offered at both Grouse and Cypress Mountains on either Saturday or Sunday. Sessions on both mountains begin on January 7/8, 2012 and will continue for the following 10 weeks. For athletes new to our program, there is a skier assessment day on December 11th. This will allow us to arrange the classes by skier ability and to identify participants that may not yet meet the entry requirements. The price for the Jumps and Bumps program is $495. Fees include on-mountain instruction and the end of the season club event. This fee does NOT include CFSA/BCFSA membership and insurance, equipment, or lift tickets. To register for this program, simply click the Registration Tab. * All athletes entering the Jumps & Bumps program are assessed by the class coach. As the skier progresses through the program, they will move through various colours (skill sets) until they receive their wings.
