|  CYPRESS MOUNTAIN CLEAN UP DAY!!!! The VFSC will be hosting a Cleanup day at Cypress Saturday Nov 5th We will be clearing the run that we all train on during the winter of debris. Arrive at 8:45am After work is done we will have a social with food & beverages! Parents welcome. This is our clubs way of giving back to the mountain that supports us with training venues & facilities throughout the season. This is for the benefit of all the athletes & we ask that everyone come out & take part in setting up YOUR course & YOUR facilites. As with all organizations, the success of Vancouver Freestyle is due in large part to the parent volunteers. In this day of shrinking government sporting grants, we could not offer our programs at the price that we do without the commitment of a team of volunteers. Your contribution has great value to the club, but we realize that not everyone has the opportunity to volunteer. This is why we decided to provide those who know a head of time that they will not be able to lend a hand to the club the option of paying a little extra in lieu of a volunteer commitment. For those of you who choose to volunteer, there are many opportunities both on and off the mountain to give a hand, all of which will be coordinated by a Volunteer Coordinator. By the way, the position of Volunteer Coordinator is vacant should you wish to participate.
